A New York City animal rescue is bringing together two things Us loves most: dogs and Bravo.
Waldo’s Rescue Pen, a nonprofit organization, has named some of its adoptable dogs after reality stars from shows including Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules and various Housewives franchises.
“Andy Cohen has the 411 on the newest Real Housewives of NY🍎 The RHONY gals arrived with the number one guy in the group and 35 other incredible pups on their freedom ride to NYC today!” read a post from the shelter’s official Instagram account on Sunday, November 12, alongside photos of adorable dogs. “They are already winning the hearts of everyone they meet including their Bravolebrity namesakes! They’re all up on our site ready for you to apply to adopt them!”
Bravo fans can visit the adoption website to see which dogs are looking for their forever homes. Waldo’s Rescue Pen is a foster-based rescue with a hub in New York City that works with organizations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico to save dogs of all ages and breeds. Their mission is to rescue dogs from the euthanasia list at high kill shelters.
Andy Cohen isn’t the only Bravo star to get a shout-out from the rescue — Southern Charm‘s Austen Kroll and Shep Rose served as inspiration for other pups’ names. Vanderpump Rules fans can even meet dogs named after Lala Kent, Scheana Shay and Tom Schwartz.
On the Housewives front, the rescue honored RHONY newbie Brynn Whitfield, Luann de Lesseps, RHONJ’s Dolores and Frank Catania, Erika Jayne, Harry Hamlin, RHOA’s Kenya Moore, Kyle Richards and estranged husband Mauricio Umansky, Sonja Morgan and RHOC’s Tamra Judge.

The Vanderpump Rules star is an avid animal lover whose dogs Charlotte and Mya have been featured on the show. Puppy Ariana is only 1 month old and is still acclimating in her current foster home.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has left an impression on the franchise since joining the show in season 3 with wife Melissa Gorga. As for the puppy named after Joe, she is a mixed poodle who is still growing at 4 months old.
According to the adoption website, the Summer House star’s dog counterpart is very sweet and loving but may initially be shy. Puppy Carl is only 4 months old, so he is still learning to walk on a leash — and prefers to be carried around like a baby.
Named after the iconic Real Housewives of Miami star, puppy Marysol goes by Mabel and is already known for being polite and gentle. The weeks-old puppy, who arrived from Georgia, loves attention, naps and lots of love.
Real Housewives of Orange County viewers might see a resemblance between Heather Dubrow‘s husband and the 2-year-old dog Terry, currently available for adoption in New York City.
The Below Deck chef’s dog namesake doesn’t appear listed on the rescue website, which means he hopefully found his forever home. Meanwhile, Captain Jason, Captain Lee, Captain Glenn and Kate Chastain are still looking for applicants.
The Below Deck Down Under star was the most popular guest at BravoCon earlier this month. Captain Jason the Australian Shepherd also looks like the life of the party.
Kyle and Amanda have offered glimpses at their two dogs, Reese and Ryder, after adopting them in February 2022. The pair bear an uncanny resemblance to the dog version of Amanda from Waldo’s Rescue Pen.
The Below Deck alum will always be our Stud of the Sea. As for dog Captain Lee, the 12-month-old mixed breed weighs almost 50 pounds and is adjusting to life in New York City.
The OG Reza rose to stardom after starring on Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset. Dog Reza, meanwhile, just celebrated his first birthday and seems much less interested in the spotlight.
The rescue named a 4-month-old puppy after Kate, everyone’s favorite Below Deck chief stew.
The Southern Charm star is currently booked and busy starring in his own show, appearing on girlfriend Paige DeSorbo‘s Summer House and running Sewing Down South. Dog Craig’s schedule seems to be a bit lighter at just 4 months old.
